In addition to the capybara passage, I’ve also got a free sample skateboarding fiction reading passage available for you! This passage tells the fictional story of Jake, a skateboarder who faces the challenge of landing a difficult trick. Not only is this a fun story, but it also encourages students to think about perseverance, friendship, and overcoming challenges. The questions that go with this passage will help students practice their comprehension skills and analyze the story’s key ideas and themes.
