Hi! My name is Laura.

I started Teaching Across Borders to share what I’ve learned over my years in the classroom—because I know how hard it can be to find resources that truly work without taking up all your precious prep time. Since 2010, I’ve been on this wild teaching journey, working with 2nd and 5th graders in elementary, guiding K-5 English Language Learners, and teaching 6th-10th grade English and Social Studies. With a Master's in Education focusing on Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Technology, I've seen firsthand what works (and what doesn’t) in real classrooms.

Here, I’m all about helping busy teachers like you create engaging, effective, and differentiated lessons without the extra hassle. I believe that teaching should be fun and impactful—both for our students and for us! My goal is to provide you with practical, classroom-tested resources and tips that are creative, affordable, and ready-to-use, so you can spend less time stressing over prep and more time inspiring your students.
